A broadband network is being built across Pauma tribal lands — owned by the Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians, engineered for this terrain, and designed to reach homes that commercial providers passed by.
The Pauma Band will own and operate this network as a tribally managed internet service provider. Pricing, service, and where the network grows next stay with the Tribe.
About the Initiative
The Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians is building broadband across tribal lands — fiber where fiber works, wireless where the valley and hillsides make trenching impractical, and backup power so service holds through outages.
EnerTribe serves as engineering and infrastructure partner. A Native-owned firm working across Indian Country on broadband, water, and energy, EnerTribe's role is to design, permit, and help deliver the network the Tribe has defined.
